Beautiful Pocharam Dam (Nagireddipet Mandal)
Located at a distance of 14.6 km from Medak, Comes under Nagireddipet Mandal of Nizmabad Dist of Telangana Sate. The Pocharam Dam Reservoir is a popular tourist destination of Telangana. Also known as the Pocharam Dam Reservoir, it was constructed between 1916 and 1922 and straddles the Allair River, a tributary of Manjira River.
The site of the dam made misty by the frothy waters of the dam and being surrounded by lush greenery is a scenic spot for a picnic. Families throng to this place for a pleasant day out.
